Our specially trained dogs (all certified by Therapy Dogs International) love to visit with kids and listen to them read! Stop by to pet the dogs and read to them either before or after you make a craft in our “Make & Take” program. Can’t read? The dogs would love for you to tell them about the pictures in the books, too. (Parents – this is a great opportunity for your kids to learn how to approach a dog safely and get in some great practice at reading out loud to a friendly dog who doesn’t care if you know how to say all the words or not!)
