Zucchini Rocket Workshop

Historic Newburgh is holding its third annual zucchini races at the Newburgh Farmers Market and you can make your zucchini rocket at the Bell Road Library this year! Rev up your imagination and start planning your winning rocket now!

What is a Zucchini race?

Do you like vegetables? Do you enjoy race-cars or rockets? If so, then the Zucchini 500 is for you. The Bell Road Library will have free zucchini rocket making workshops on Thursday, June 16, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm and Friday, June 17 10:00 am to 11:30 am. Everything you need for your rocket (including the zucchini) will be provided by the library and Historic Newburgh.This is an all ages program.

Registration for zucchini races will open at the Newburgh Farmers Market on Saturday, June 18 at 8:00am. Heats will start at 9:00am and go until we have a winner!
